In
the blink of an eye Breakthrough Pekan Nanas has been established for 4 years!
It
was raining incessantly on 27 August, the day of the anniversary celebration,
but that did not dampen the fervor and enthusiasm of the arriving guests,
brothers and sisters. Pastor Simon through hissermon, Redemptive
Grace, encouraged the staff to carry on the precious mission of the
gospel-based drug rehabilitation ministry with unwavering dedication as he
recounted Breakthrough Pekan Nanas’ founding journey, struggles and successes.
Brothers
of Pekan Nanas sang and witnessed about God’s glory and powerful act in
transforming them completely from their old self to a new creation, which in
turn transformed the lives of their family members and drug junkies around
them.
The
400 over guests consisted mainly of the family members of Pekan Nanas’
brothers; elders,
brothers and sisters from ECF Holyword Church; and Singapore Breakthrough’s
choir, staff, mamas’ Fellowship members, and the Overcomers’ Fellowship members.
The
celebration concluded with a sumptuous buffet dinner, happy chattering amidst
the rain of blessings.
Praise
God, His guidance and provision for Breakthrough Pekan Nanas drug
rehabilitation ministry and its brothers have always been more than enough!
Thank you, brothers and sisters for your unfailing love and care for the
brothers in Breakthrough Pekan Nanas!
