Missions welcomes Ms Shie Yong Lee, Commissioner of Singapore Prisons and four
other officers on their visit on 5 November 2020. Brother Simon Neo, Executive
Director introduced to the visitors our operations and the resettlement plans
to Lloyd Leas. The tour to each social enterprise gave our guests a
comprehensive and lasting impression of our ministry.
Followed by
the visit, Commissioner Shie and her team travelled to our recently move-in
premise at Russels Road. It is the transitory dormitory site before we move to
our promised land at Changi.
Someone said you had moved! Why?
Yes, we had.
Our premise at Yew Siang Road is a wood-structured building, aging and lack of
effective fire-preventive measures. Hence, the Civil Defence Force advises us
not to use it as a dormitory and we must move out for safety sake.
To Where?
1C Russels
Road Singapore 118281, not far from Yew Siang Road.
Are all social enterprise services
to be moved out?
No, our
office and all our social enterprise services, including car-cleaning, foot
reflexology, furniture, Bible leather-cover restoration services and other
services remain at Yew Siang Road. You are welcome to visit us and we are glad
to be at your service. May the Lord bless you!
