Brother Simon
Neo and Breakthrough choir travelled with a tight schedule to Pekan Nanas,
Malaysia ministering in two Sunday services and two Gospel rallies on 27-28
April 2019, with the invitation from ECF Holyword Church，Pekan Nanas and Holyword Church Kangkar Pulai.
The two
Gospel rallies had altogether more than 130 attendants, 30 of them were
youngsters. Brother Neo instilled the urgency of breakthrough in life and
commitments in Jesus by the word of God with the attendants.
On 12-16 April 2019, brother Simon was
guest-speaker at a summer conference organized by 5 churches in the town of
Kengtung, Myanmar, which was about 5-6 hour drive from Chiang Rai in Thailand.
Brother Simon was invited by Rev Li Shuang Wen of Kengtung Bread of Life Baptist
Church.
The summer conference was held in the tranquil
environment of a bible seminary. The 200 who attended comprised mainly youth
aged 15 and younger. Brother Neo shared 2 messages: “God’s masterpiece” and
“The Christian’s Mission in Christ”. As God’s masterworks we have experienced
salvation, transformation and the power of resurrection in Christ and we are to
accomplish His good works. Some members of the accompanying Breakthrough choir
also shared their experiences and how they overcame drug addiction. The
challenge to the church pastors and youths were to strive for love to prevail
throughout Myanmar, its villages, towns, provinces and states.
